Symposia Suggestion - The submission process is now closed

The Organising Committee and the Board of EASO have worked dynamically together to create a vibrant platform which will bring together colleagues from every area of obesity research, prevention and management.  Participants are clinicians, practitioners, physicians, nutritionists, surgeons and researchers – all experts and key opinion leaders in the field of obesity and its related conditions.   The ECO2019 programme will include a mix of plenary lectures, oral communications, poster sessions and symposia.  Help us create a conference that you want to attend. We’re welcoming suggestions for symposia so please liaise with colleagues and submit a symposium suggestion under one of the three programme tacks (note that childhood obesity is a cross cutting theme and therefore can be relevant in all three tracks):

• Basic and Experimental Science
• Childhood and Adolescent Obesity
• Health, Behaviour and Environment
• Management and Intervention

Please utilise this form to submit ideas for consideration.  Each Symposia slot is 1.5h long and the format can run to suit your topic.   You should aim to cover a hot topic and speakers should come from a variety of countries. 

Please send your completed form to: [email protected].  The deadline for receipt of suggestions is Friday 23 November 2018.  Late submissions will not be considered. 

Please note that this is different to the invited part of the programme.  Speakers in accepted symposia are expected to register for the congress.

Standard abstract submission will open in September 2018 with a submission deadline of 04 January 2019.  Accepted symposia organisers will be asked to submit individual speaker abstracts in advance of this deadline.
